Six Point Press Story
Six Point Press was founded to publish crime fiction that values atmosphere, moral tension, and character over gimmicks. We believe the best crime stories are around clever twists, but around people pushed to the edge by circumstance, desire, and consequence.
Our name comes from the six-point stag, an animal known for patience, territorial instinct, and quiet authority. Like the stories we publish, it does not rush. It watches. When it moves, it moves with purpose.
Every title released under the Six Point Press name is selected for voice, its weight, and its ability to linger after the final page. These books are meant to be lived with, not merely finished.

Six Point Press was founded by James Dawson to create a home for crime fiction that reflects his own creative values: clarity of voice, emotional restraint, and stories that leave a mark. While the imprint currently publishes Dawson's work, it was built as a lasting literary house, not a temporary vehicle.
