Man Behind The Stories
From the table, to the stage, to the page.
James Dawson is a husband, father of four, and a storyteller with a flair for grit and grace. He got his start swapping stories with friends, then sharpened that edge onstage, performing stand-up comedy across California. The laughs were real, but bowling alley chicken wings don’t feed a family—so he turned to the page.
Now, James brings his voice to fiction—writing with the cool precision of a pulp-era antihero and the rhythm of a seasoned performer. Whether it’s a short story or a full-length novel, his work blends stripped-down style with punch and purpose, always aiming to keep the reader leaning in.
